Domestic Violence
I thought about this because its 4:30 in the morning and I’ve had to call the police on the junkies across the street. Now I cant sleep… Good thing I have Nano!!
Hmmmm. I don’t have junkies, but INS and the Sheriff’s Department raided the house across the street last week. That was fun.
I’m having trouble getting started.. I know… tisk tisk.. day two and still nothing… grrrrrr.. im nervous for some reason dunno why.. must push through and conquer nerdowrimo!!!!!!!!!
day 3… and all I have written is a paper for my english class… it was about violence–not domestic, however. In the film The Constant Gardener there is a line “Stop bleeding for bloody Africa” and I had to analyze this phrase, which ended up being an interesting topic for me. Therefore, even though it was for school, I am counting it for nano. I managed to get in 1537 words on the topic…but now that the semester is over (yay!) I have a clearer head and can hopefully get rolling on this.
Yeah, day three and I am well behind my daily marks BUT I feel good about the work that I have done so far. Might be a little different for me because I am writing a story, and I have mapped out where I am going. The problem with that is that things can get a little too confined and stressfull because I could be getting in the way of the story… I have a habit of doing that.
